Merry Christmas 2010

All hail Britannia! A bit of news from the Guardian via Pharyngula. I think this calls for further expression of patriotism on behalf of Britain by a non-Britain. 1985 Atheists: 34% 2010 Atheists: 51%

Bernstein, Beethoven, and Freedom.

I love the 9th symphony more than any other work of art on this planet. A monumental salutation to the possibilities of universal brotherhood, and joy. So I can scarcely compare my upcoming violin performance

Weekday Music: Bach Cello Suite No.1, BWV 1007.

Not much postings for the next few days at least. I have lots of reading to do, and as Samuel Johnson says: I never desire to converse with a man who has written more than he has read. So just shut-up and enjoy the music. I need to get back to reading.

Let the war commence!

This first post marks the beginning of what will hopefully, not be a short-lived attempt to introduce science, logic, and reason into the discussion of affairs in Malaysia. But allow me to celebrate my first official, (nearly) completely built from scratch blog! Take it away Karajan! My heartfelt apologies for the never-ending questions to Flyzzx,
