I have been in the USA for 8 days, and am still dazed from the apathy of North Americans around me towards the NSA’s warrant-less wire-tapping of everyone’s email and phones.
It’s as if these people do not care at all that their privacy is being violated by the state.
Maybe a more pointed message of what they are losing will rouse them to anger.
Bah. Who am I kidding. I have asked questions such as: “How does it feel to live in a surveillance state?” and the only people who seem to care are my neighbours who are more than 60 years old.
