Post-Christmas Cheer

At least if like me, life revolves around the +8 GMT timezone.

How appropriate that I should find one of the best articles to have read all year at the near end of 2012. A tale on acceptance of gender identity, finding a person who accepts you as the person you are, raising a family, and perhaps forgiving the family bigot in the hopes of being more than the family black sheep.

Best wishes to Zinnia Jones, and congratulations on writing an uplifting article which subverts the title The Last Closet: Why I Won’t be Home for Christmas.

Update: Glad to say her story gets an amazing epilogue.
